Commercial Refrigeration Technician

The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of refrigeration mechanics and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigerated display cases
- Troubleshooting system issues and identifying solutions
- Conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance
- Diagnosing and repairing faulty components and refrigerant leaks
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Communicating effectively with customers and other team members
- 3-5 years of experience in Refrigeration
- HVAC experience a plus
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be willing to work on-call rotation on weekends and after-hours for emergency repairs and maintenance
Pay: Based on Experience
Experience: 3-5 years in Refrigeration
Education/Qualifications (License or Certification)
- High School Diploma or Equivalence.
- TDLR & EPA Type II (Preferred)
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 75-80 lbs. occasionally.
- Type/speak English clearly.
- Must be able to read/write/spell.
- Must be able to understand and follow written instructions, and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Must have strong skills in prioritization, organization, multitasking, and stress management.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
