Job Overview

CS Mechanical/Azimuth CDM, a leading provider of mechanical and construction services, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries and respond with a high level of customer service, professionalism, and promptness.
  • Process new hires from their job offer through orientation.
  • Maintain hiring processes by posting jobs, organizing onsite interviews, and updating job descriptions.
  • Consistently monitor federal and state leaves reviewing documents and triaging as needed. Monitor and triage ADA/ADAA requests and track progress.
  • Tasks include (but are not limited to) creating IT requests, ordering and following up on background checks, ensuring all documentation is signed, bonus and travel time funds are processed, employment eligibility, and I-9s, and coordinating new employee onboarding sessions.
  • Aiding employees with return from Leaves of Absence or Workers’ Comp inquiries, responding to unemployment claims and Cobra claims.
  • Manage benefits enrollment by conducting information sessions and directing employees to the correct web resources.
  • Help with local employee engagement, service awards, and events.
  • Help in equipping managers for the salary and incentive planning process.

Skills

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Able to work professionally with a cross-section of people within the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Good critical thinking skills, and awareness of downstream impacts.
  • Ability to focus in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Well-organized with good time management skills

Education/Qualifications (License or Certification)

  • High School Diploma or Equivalence.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or a similar field with two or more years of experience or in lieu of education.
